An interview with Newmanology
My old pal Norman B interviewed me last week for Tampa radio station WMNF. We talked about art direction, graphic design, magazines, illustration, apps, and more for about 25 minutes. The highlight was when Norman’s 10-year-old son James appeared and steered us into a discussion about manga and anime. There’s lots of fun if you like to hear two grizzled veterans talk about art and commerce. The interview starts at the 6.40 point in the audio clip, but be sure to listen all the way through to hear some wonderful music, too.
