Joe Zeff: 10 Takeaways from the SPD Digital Judging
Over the weekend, SPD hosted its 46th annual judging weekend for the best in editorial design, photography and illustration in 2010. This year’s competition is the first to include submissions for magazine apps on the iPad. Always inspiring to see all the great work both in print and digital. This year we took the opportunity to gather the digital judges over the same weekend in the same location, which I felt was a win-win. Kudos to the digital judges for bearing with us in a year which we saw the debut of a dynamic new platform and double the amount of submissions.
